You'll get a return transfer from Agri, or İgdır, airports, we'll book a nice hotel room for you, take care of your dinner, organise a visit to the hamam after the climb: so you can just relax and enjoy your Mt Ararat ski tour.
Day 1: transfer from Agri or İgdır, airport to Doğubayazıt. On the way we will get the first glimpse of Mt Ararat. Dinner in Doğubayazıt. At dinner we will discuss al the possible questions regarding your Mt. Ararat climb. Accommodation is provided in double rooms.
Day 2: transfer from Doğubayazıt to 1800m by minibus at 7am. From here, we start our climb of Mt Ararat by skiing up to 2800m (1st camp, 4 hours). We pitch tents and hot food is served for dinner.
Day 3: start the second day of our Mt Ararat tour early in the morning (at 8am), and reach 3800m (2nd camp) by cross-country skiing (4 hours). We pitch tents and hot food is served for dinner.
Day 4: start in the morning at 8am, ascent to 4600m for acclimatisation, return to the 2nd camp at 3800m. Today's all-day cross-country skiing helps to ensure the success of reaching Mt Ararat summit. Hot food is served for dinner.
Day 5: start at 5am, ascent by ski up to 4700m, then climb (using crampons) up to the summit of Mt Ararat (5137m). We reach the summit by about 10am. We return to the 2nd camp, where hot soup and tea is served. After some rest, we pack the tents and return to 1800m by ski, minibus is already waiting for us
descent from the 1st camp to car pick-up point. We say good-bye to Mt Ararat and return to Doğubayazıt by minibus. After some rest in the hotel, we go to the hammam. Farewell dinner. Accommodation in double rooms.
Day 6: Ishak Pasha palace, Noah’s ark and meteor crater
The tour starts with visiting the Ishak Pasha Palace constructed in the 18-19th century in a mixture of architectural styles. Construction was started by Çolak Abdı Pasha, the Ottoman governor of the province and was finished by his son, Ishak Pasha. We visit the site where Noah’s Ark is believed to have come aground. We go on to the Meteor Crater, the second deepest and largest meteor crater in the world, The final stop is at the Diyadin hot springs. The site includes a pool, private baths, and the water treats rheumatism, skin problems and nephritis. Just relax!
Optional stop in this tour is the ark built by Greenpeace activists in springs.

Day 7: Transfer to Agri, or İgdır, airport
Included in the price: all transportation, all meals during the trek, dinner on the day of the arrival and on return from the Ararat trek, tea, water (other soft drinks and alcohol not included), hotel accommodation for 3 nights in double rooms (Doğubayazıt)*, climbing permit, guide for the Mt Ararat ski, porter, cook, tent, mat, sleeping bag, crampons, climbing certificate, hamam on the evening of return from the Mt Ararat ski.
Necessary equipment: backpack for the equipments and clothes, day-bag for the hikes, hiking boots, and ski boots head lights, warm and waterproof clothes, pocket knife, sun glasses. If you bring your own sleeping bag, choose a good 4-season one (-15°C). Weather may be chilly at 4200m, and you can expect temperatures between 0 and -15°C on the summit.
